Sarah Fay, Managing Director, Glasswing Ventures

Sarah Fay has more than two decades of experience building and leading marketing services companies in the advertising and media industry. In her CEO and President roles, she was a known innovator who led the charge in the adoption of new forms of media such as Digital, Mobile, Search, Social, and Programmatic. Under Sarah’s leadership, Carat was the first of the major media agencies to merge digital and traditional capabilities, offering fully integrated strategies.  As CEO of Isobar North America, she built the business to $100M in revenue in six years, which involved successfully executing several acquisitions of specialist services. As CEO of Aegis Media North America, Sarah led an organization of nearly 2,000 employees.

Given her thought leadership and experience in digital and marketing industries, Sarah has served as an Independent Director on the Boards of public and private technology and digital media companies such as Celtra, Social Flow, The Street (Nasdaq:TST), Women’s Marketing, Inc., and [X+1] acquired by Rocket Fuel for $230M.  She has participated as Board Advisor and/or angel investor to Adelphic Mobile, clypd, ViralGains, Ghostery, Namely, Mavrck, and MOGUL. 

Sarah’s contributions to the broader community include serving on the Executive Board of the Ad Club of Boston, as Director on the Board of The Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX) and as Board Advisor to Advertiser Perceptions.

Sarah earned a BA in English from the University of Vermont and has received over 30 accolades and awards for her accomplishments such as “Media All Star” (AdWeek), “Top 100 Most Influential People in Media (Media Post) and “Fast 50” (Fast Company), Industry Achievement Award (Ad:Tech). 

 

Chris Evans, Vice President of Media, R&R Partners

In the light-speed world of media planning, buying and analytics, where new trends and platforms are an almost weekly occurrence, it is critical to have smart, insightful leadership at the helm of your media strategy. This is why Chris leads the media department for R&R Partners across our network of 9 offices, managing a team of 40+ buyers and planners across traditional and digital media for multimillion-dollar brands.

Prior to joining R&R, he served as SVP/Media Director for True Media, where he oversaw a staff of 35 team members across multiple Midwest offices. In this role, he helped clients such as Monsanto, State of Missouri, Hospital Corporation of America, University of Missouri and Jefferson City Tourism.

Previously, he was with Starcom MediaVest Group in Detroit, where he developed strategies for General Motors brands including Cadillac, Hummer and Pontiac, and GM Goodwrench. 

 

Mindi Ikeda, SVP Group Media Director, MullenLowe Mediahub 

Rising through the ranks at media agencies in both San Francisco and New York, Mindi’s passion and leadership skills come from her self-starter approach to immersing herself in both her clients' business and the advertising world.  Working across such marquee clients such as T-Mobile,  Disney Parks and Resorts, Pizza Hut, Ulta Beauty, British Airways, and Unilever, she applies her expansive experience across all media channels, but because of her start in digital media, has always helped to ground her clients in that constantly evolving channel.

  

Joseph Dumont, Chief Growth Officer, Eecosphere

Joey is currently the Chief Growth Officer of eecosphere, a behavioral company that applies a science based approach to story telling for mission based organizations and corporate brands. Previously, he was a Partner, Managing Director at Questus, an award winning digital ad agency in San Francisco and New York City. He was also the Executive Producer of a documentary called The Naked Brand: A story about how corporations can help save our world one small step at a time by being honest and transparent with authentic storytelling.  

 

 

Wendi Dunlap, Director, Agency Partnerships, Oracle Marketing Cloud

Wendi Dunlap has been pushing the boundaries of digital marketing for almost two decades. Throughout her career she has pioneered new planning strategies and methodologies for Digital Video, Mobile Marketing and Social Media. In 2007, prior to the coining of the term “programmatic,” she was developing data-segmentation strategies and attribution methodologies.  Holding both agency and client-side positions, she has managed cross-channel media for brands as diverse as Volkswagen, Best Buy, Microsoft Office and The History Channel.  She has held senior positions at leading agencies and brands including Mediacom, Horizon Media and Microsoft.

Wendi is currently a Director on the Agency Partnerships Team for the Oracle Marketing Cloud. She is a graduate of Cornell University and the mother of a young adult son. She is also the volunteer Marketing Director for GeekGirlCon, a Seattle-based non-profit supporting women & girls in underrepresented fields such as STEM, comics and science fiction. She writes horror and fantasy in her spare time.

 

Simon Pont, Chief Strategy Officer, Brave Bison

His agency career includes being part of Saatchi & Saatchi and Naked Communications, the pioneers of Communications Planning. Hollywood movie studios, Icelandic investment banks, British chocolate bars and Middle Eastern airlines figure amongst his time on the inside of Adland.

Simon is the author of 'The Better Mousetrap: Brand Invention in a Media Democracy', ‘Digital State: How the Internet is Changing Everything' (both non-fiction), and ‘Remember to Breathe’ (a novel).

 

Jonathan Adams, Chief Digital Officer, Maxus

As Chief Digital Officer, Americas, for Maxus Global Media (a unit of GroupM & WPP), Jonathan, and the Maxus executive team, architect the digital direction for the company and it’s many clients. With over 2500 team members in 55 countries, Maxus is still a young and agile organization, born in the digital age. 

Prior to Maxus, Jonathan was SVP, Head of North American Media at iCrossing (Hearst) as well as leadership roles at Digitas (Publicis Groupe) and OgilvyOne (WPP) as SVP, Global Media and Senior Partner, Group Media Director, respectively. 

Mr. Adams is recognized as an industry leader having served as Chairman of the AAAA Digital Marketing Committee, as well as honored by Advertising Age, Ad:tech (2016 Industry Achievement Award) and the University of Florida (2013 “Alumnus of Distinction").

In 20+ years, he has managed a number of clients and categories including Delta Air Lines (global), Post Foods, Equifax, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Kraft Foods, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Motorola, Sears.com, American Express, IBM and Kimberly-Clark.
