Want to become part of San Francisco history?

SFMTA invites you to co-create its identity for the future! Now celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Muni, the SFMTA provides the backbone for the unique character of San Francisco. It connects communities through its network that covers pedestrians, streetscapes, bicycling, transit, traffic, parking, taxis. Join in the centennial celebration by submitting and voting on design concepts that reflect this character of the SFMTA as it enters its second century.

You can participate in three ways:

1. Submit a concept in the form of logo, tagline, and color scheme. This is a unique opportunity for all creative members of the San Francisco community to participate and gain access to a broad audience. Once selected, the SFMTA will produce your winning concept. The shortlist of winning ideas will be determined by your votes, so be sure to submit early.

2. Like and comment on submitted designs. For those who aren't the creative-type, you can help to shape ideas submitted by others by offering constructive praise and critique of the idea. Your 'likes' will determine the ideas that get shortlisted for review by our award-winning panel of judges.

3. Share ideas for support. Share submissions with your community to further strengthen your support for the idea.

Deadline for entries is May 2, 2012.
